Questions I Get From Potential Upwork Clients
How long does a project take?
For fully custom work where we’re designing everything from scratch, I need a minimum 3 weeks. The timeline depends on what you need – a complete brand & website redesign takes about 3 months, a logo takes a month, and a website takes 2 months. I can create something within 2 weeks but only using templates, so it won’t be from scratch.
I don’t offer 2-3 day turnarounds, and even for tiny tweaks like updating your website colors, changing a font, fixing a broken link, adding a new section to a page, or updating your content, I need a minimum of 1 week. I’m not here to make a quick buck – I genuinely want you to be happy with the end result, and that means giving each project, no matter how small, the time and attention it deserves to get it right.
I'm in a different timezone, is that going to be an issue?
No. Most of my clients live in Europe and the US. We make it work by finding times that work for both of us. So it’s never been an issue.
What's your work schedule like?
I work Monday through Friday, with some Saturday spots open for clients who work 9-5 jobs. I don’t work on Sundays and on public holidays (think Christmas). I also respond to messages/emails within 24 hours Monday-Friday.
What files will I receive?
Depending on what you hire me for, you’ll get:
– Logo variations in different file formats (PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF)
– Source files (Adobe AI/PSD/XD files)
– Brand style guide as PDF
– Website design
– Website design tutorials
– Any templates we create in your preferred format (eg: Canva social media templates)
What does a project cost?
My hourly rate is $20, with most clients investing between $400-5000 for custom brands and websites. The total really depends on what you need – sometimes it’s a simple logo, sometimes it’s a full brand package and website. If the budget feels a bit tight, we can spread the project over a longer timeline to make it work.
Some clients prefer to hire me for 10 hours/week at $10/hr which is $100 a week, while others choose 20 hours/week at $20/hr which is $400 a week.
I’m very flexible so don’t hesitate to reach out if you want a flexible payment agreement.
Can you start right away?
If my Upwork profile shows I’m available, then yes!
Who owns the work when it's done?
Once your project is paid in full, you own all the rights to your final designs. You’ll get all source files and full usage rights.
What if I'm not happy with the work and I need changes?
We check in at key milestones so there are no surprises. You’ll get 3 free revisions. If you’re not happy with the initial concepts, we’ll discuss why and adjust the direction before moving forward. In case you’re not familiar with revisions, let me break down what revisions will look like for your project:
Small revisions (included):

Font changes
Layout tweaks
Spacing/sizing adjustments
Simple text updates
Changing images
Anything that takes more than 1 hour to change is automatically considered a revision.
Once you’ve approved a design direction, certain changes will require additional cost. For example, adding new pages or features that weren’t in our original agreement or changing your entire color palette after we’ve finalized it.
I’ll always let you know before starting any work that would incur extra costs.
