• I don't believe in chasing an algorithm. Algorithms shift constantly, and trying to outsmart a frantic, unpredictable machine to keep your business alive is a losing game. I believe in building to outlast the algorithm.
• I don't study the popular people in your industry just to copy their plays or mimic their aesthetic. You can't be different and obsess over what your peers are doing.
• I build brands for the people who aren’t trying to be evil. That includes working with people who believe in fair pay (regardless of where you are based in the world) and being conscious about the kind of effect they want to have on their online and offline community.

You just need to be unmistakably, unapologetically excellent at what you do and have a brand and website that proves it.
